Remix Tips

We wanted to thank everybody who has submitted and are currently working on remixes. Here are some tips you can use as you are working:

1. We are interested in hearing remixes that contain new and original elements. Try to avoid simply rearranging existing parts of the song. Add new elements to or change the presentation of the raw tracks provided.

2. The current tempo of “Frozen” is 96 BPM. Don't limit yourself by feeling you need to keep your remix at this tempo, in fact we encourage you to change it.

3. Do not feel limited to any particular genre. Variety is our friend.

4. When mixing your final track, be sure to do a full vocal and instrumental mix. If you are a finalist, you will be required to provide both versions.

5. After you've submitted your remix. The team at Celldweller Productions will be hand picking the best remixes to post online for public review. After the submission deadline (6.15.07), the team will then post the finalists for fan voting to determine the winners.

6. There is no deadline for remix submissions, only for the contest. To submit a remix after the contest deadline, e-mail us.
