ROUND 2 RESULTS REVEALED
We have a first place winner! Well, 2 actually. The results came in and they were very close between the top few remixes. DJ Lee won by a small margin and this presented an interesting situation as he had previously taken 1st place in Round 1.
We weren't prepared to have a repeat winner, and this made us realize we needed to address this and keep the contest open and fresh for new winners each round. We discussed the situation with DJ Lee and he has graciously & respectfully opted to bow out of the running and give this opportunity to other hard working remixers. DJ Lee's remix will be featured on the upcoming Take It & Break It Vol 2 - "Frozen" 3-disc compilation.
So when all is said and done, here are the top 3 remixes you've chosen:
1st Place - Brent Young (As Ember Mix)
2nd Place - Copy Paste Repeat (CPR Mix)
3rd Place - Skeel (Mass Panic Mix)
As we previously mentioned, we had a hard time narrowing the finalists down to just 15 mixes and had to bump that number up to 20. In the spirit of that tough decision, Klayton has had a rough time picking only 1 personal favorite for his "Klayton's Pick."

NOTE FROM KLAYTON
It's great to see more people involved this round. I just want to thank all the remixers for making our lives difficult, because there were so many good remixes this time around that we've had a hard time narrowing it down to just 15 finalists. In fact we couldn't. We had to bump up to 20 finalists and we have over 50 mixes that will be officially released via CD compilation or as part of a bonus digital download package.
As far as Round 3 goes, there's some good news and some bad news. Unfortunately, the bad news is for me, because I ended up creating more work for myself. The good news I'll be announcing to you right before we kick off Round 3 in August, so stay tuned.

You are required to provide an active e-mail address as you will be promted via e-mail to confirm your vote. ROUND 2 VOTING DETAILS ANNOUNCED
Voting for Round 2 will begin on Wed, July 11th and continue until Wed, July 25th. Scores will not be viewable during voting, so you won't know who is ahead until the announcement on Friday, July 27th. Round 3 will begin Friday, August 11th. Round 3 was intended to be a new song from the upcoming album, but due to time constraints will be one more song from the Debut CD. However, we have something special planned for the files and it will offer a very new evolution to the remix experience. We also have several new features being built into the Round 3 site to take the community and interactive experience to the next level. Stay tuned for more!

ROUND 2 SUBMISSIONS CLOSED
Submissions for Round 2 are now closed. We have quite a few mixes that have come in over the last few days and we will be uploading final approved mixes over the next day or two. If you had a problem with uploading your submission or need to request we accept your submission late, please e-mail us at rmx@celldweller.com. Voting details will be announced in the next few days so keep checking back here as well as check out the final remix postings.

New Site Features
We have just added several new features to the remix site today:
1. Sorting Options
You can now sort the listening page by latest submission, artist name or remix name.
2. Comment Reporting
You can now flag a comment to us if you suspect spam or abuse (impersonators, racism, cruelty, slander etc...) We will get notified and review the comments to take further action (deleting the comment or even banning the IP address responsible for the post)
3. Anchoring
Previously when you scrolled down the listen page and clicked on a remix the page would refresh and load back to the top, losing your place on the page. We've now fixed that and the page will stay anchored to where you left it.

Improved Player & Location Display
We've just updated the Remix Listening area of the site with a brand new Flash Player that has better controls for listening to remixes. You can now skip through a track with a transport bar, pause and control volume with ease. We've also added an artist location display to each remix's window so you can see where the artist originates (ie - USA, UK, France, Poland, Isreal, etc...). We've found it to be inspiring to see how many countries from around the world are being representing and wanted all the listeners to be a part of that as well.

REDLINE - IN THEATERS
Redline hits theaters today (4-13-07) and is using "Shapeshifter" by Celldweller feat. Styles of Beyond in the soundtrack. "Shapeshifter" was also used in several trailers and TV Spots for the film.

CELLDWELLER IN SPIDERMAN 3
An unreleased Celldweller song from the upcoming sophomore album is being featured in a new Spider-man 3 TV Spot. The track is still in demo form and yet to be officially recorded and named, but is going under a working title of "Baseline."
Klayton is preparing a special instrumental edit of the track to debut on Myspace. As you are all aware our profile has been hacked and we are still battling to take back full control of our page. As soon as Myspace Support helps us resolve the hacking issues, you will be the first to hear "Baseline." This will be the first official preview from the sophomore Celldweller album.
