ABOUT:

The Take It & Break It Remix Competition Series began in September 2006 with Celldweller's "Own Little World." That first round ended in February 2007 and a 2 Disc Compilation CD of "Own Little World" remixes (available for purchase from FIXT Music) was released in Spring '07.

The Series continued with Round 2 launching in early March '07 featuring another Celldweller track, "Frozen." The response to "Frozen" was overwhelming with the site receiving millions of visitors and tens of thousands of downloads of the remix files. With a strong collection of posted remixes, Round 2 came to a close in Summer '07. A special 3-disc compilation CD of "Frozen" remixes is slated for release in Fall '07.

Round 3 is now underway in September 2007 with Celldweller's "Switchback" taking center stage, featuring over 115 raw files from various demos, remixes, alternate versions as well as the featured album version..

Rounds 4-6 are tentatively planned to feature new material from the upcoming Celldweller sophomore album.
